Lama Tenpa will explain how mind is studied in the Buddhist tradition. As everything depends on our understanding of mind, the study of Lorik, or the classifications of mind, is very, very important. Lama Tenpa, who was traditionally trained at the top Kagyu Shedra, teaches in English. Those of you who heard him teach last Spring know that he is an engaging, funny and brilliant teacher. Lama Tenpa plans to teach monthly at the Denver Shambhala Center on Lorik. All his teachings will be open to the public. We will try to schedule these teachings on the second Sunday of the month whenever possible. * sitting will continue in the new meditation hall for those who wish to practice Shamatha rather than attend the teaching |
